Canoga Park High School is a place of business and student attire should reflect such. The following dress code has been developed with in-put from students, parents and staff. Any clothing or accessories that are disruptive to the instructional program are considered inappropriate.
Specifically, the following clothes/items are prohibited:
- Headgear (of any kind) except CPHS Hats
- Gang related clothing including:
- White ribbed undershirts
- Baggy shorts or pants
- Hairnets
- Pants cut below the knee worn with long socks
- Known gang colors
- Inappropriate clothing including:
- Bare midriff tops
- Pants or shorts not worn at the waistline Sheer blouses alone
- Bathing suit, tube tops and sports bras or halter tops
- Skirts that are too short
- Clothing or accessories depicting drugs, alcohol, or use of inappropriate language
