CONGRESSIONAL AWARD WINNING HUNTER (5/11/2007)
Sara Pacheo is the grand prizewinner of the Congressional Art Contest sponsored by Brad Sherman. We are proud of this talented artist.

Sarah Pacheco won 1st place in the Brad Sherman Congressional Art Contest. Sara is a very talented Advanced Placement Art student in Mr. Steve Martinez’s class. She created a painting titled, “Warriorâ€.
The painting is of Sara’s horse and it will hang in Washington D.C. in the United States Capitol Building for the next year.
Sarah will receive an all expense paid trip to Washington D.C.! While she is there, she will participate in a winner’s ceremony. Sara is also the recipient of a scholarship from Telesis Credit Union and a gift card to the Topanga/Westfield Shopping Mall. You may see Sara in the Canoga Park Memorial Day Parade where she will be honored.
