	Strategies for Educating and Empowering Young Men of Color Conference Nine young men from our school were chosen to attend a conference held at Loyola Marymount University on November 15th.
	STEPHANIE SELECTED FOR SCHOLARSHIP Senior, Stephanie Luxton won the David Sanchez Scholarship Award at the 18th Annual Stonewall Scholarship reception for her original photograph titled “Strength Through Unity.”
	HUNTERS WIN AT UCLA Two students won 2nd place in the Annual Project ECHO competition. This is the first time that any valley school has placed in a very rigorous competition!
	CANOGA TOY DRIVE The Canoga Park High School Key Club, assisted by our Student Government/Leadership students, sponsored a Holiday Toy Drive for less fortunate children in the Canoga Park neighborhood.
	ENERGY AUDIT/ TRAIN TO SUSTAIN LAUSD, Pierce College and Residential Energy Assessment Services teamed up to conduct an energy efficiency audit, provide job training and offer a monetary incentive to 16 Hunters!
