To earn a diploma from Canoga Park High School, you must satisfactorily complete the required course of study, earn at least 230 credits, and pass the required proficiency tests in language writing, math and reading. In addition, a student must have met ALL the graduation requirements prior to the date of graduation in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Social Studies 30 credits
Mathematics 20 credits
Science 20 credits
Physical Education 20 credits
Health 5 credits
Life Skills 5 credits
Fine Arts 10 credits
Technical Arts 10 credits
3 yrs of Career Path way,
which includes Computer Literacy & Service Learning 30 credits
Other Electives 40 credits

In addition to earning credits, students will also be required to obtain a passing score on the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE). In order to move from one grade level to the next, students are expected to earn a minimum number of credits.

10th grade 55 credits
11th grade 110 credits
12th grade
170 credits
In order to graduate from the 12th grade, students must complete a total of 230 credits.
