Our magnet school will succeed in producing leaders for the 21st century in the veterinary and environmental sciences. Our students will attend college and be responsible members of society and contribute significantly to our community. We will be the most successful magnet program in the nation.
MISSION
Our mission is to provide our students with the resources, through thematic instruction, for a meaningful and valuable secondary education. Our students will explore the curriculum through service learning, internships and hands-on experiences while receiving close personal attention as a member of our small school. Through these experiences and resources our students will be prepared for college and a career in the veterinary and environmental science fields.
GOALS
1. Implement a theme based service learning project model.
2. Create partnerships with local businesses for internships and job shadowing opportunities.
3. Create articulation with colleges who offer programs in veterinary and environmental science.
4. Provide access to competitions (career development events) for growth and success.
5. Recruit students and teachers with interests in our theme for maximum involvement.
