CNN/ Time Warner Contest winner, Stephanie won the trip for her video, entitled "Your First Vote". The prize included a trip for her father, Norm Calix, her videographer, Steve Hererra, and her teacher, Valerie Olenick.





The group traveled to Washington DC two days before the big event. The trip included a meet and greet with CNN newsman Wolf Blitzer and a visit to the "situation room", the set of his show. They were the guests of CNN/ Time Warner at the two inaugural balls and were given "Silver tickets" which allowed them to be in the mall during the swearing in ceremony.




This was a once in a lifetime experience and Stephanie is currently working on a video of her experiences in Washington DC. She will present the video to the Canoga Park Historical Society at their March meeting. More details will be presented in the coming month.
