SENIOR PROM SUCCESS
Canoga's class of 2012 had their prom on Saturday evening, April 30, at the Wishire Ebel Club. The evening was Hollywood themed with a red carpet and glittering Hunter stars.
The Ebel venue is a historic landmark with twinkling lights, fountains and wood panels. It was an elegant evening and people were relaxed and happy. Dinner was tasty and tables were spread across the outside gardens, and a hall with a stage presenting a slideshow of images of the class of 2012 from freshman to senior year.
The flawless prom was the work of the dedicated class sponsors, Ms. Amberger and Mr. Carbonell who were having a wonderful evening dancing and enjoying the night. Everything was so well organized that it ran like clockwork.
This was the first event where BAIT Photo was in full swing. Ms. Herrera and Ms. Starr brought together their photography and business students to run the photo studio. Students were taking orders, handling finances, as well as taking the prom photographs.
Photographers from the yearbook, webpage and video class were roaming the grounds. A professional artist drew caricatures, a photo booth snapped images and everyone danced for hours.
