Sharp International is the worlds Largest Competition holder, and Canoga took FIRST PLACE in the highest high school division. 

 

"I am so proud," said cheer captain Ashlee La Foe.  "I didn't believe it at first, but then it set in."  Co-captain Yocelin Hernandez echoed her sentiments by saying, "We rocked it out!  I love this team." 

 

The Vegas competition is held once a year, and this is the first time Canoga has entered.  The cheer team has been working extremely hard all year practicing and raising money for this high profile event, and it certainly paid off big! 

 

"I questioned my sanity for taking these kids on an overnight trip to compete in Vegas, but in the end they proved themselves and made me proud," said Coach Susan Campbell.  "What a great way to end a fantastic season!"
