![]() ![]() ![]() Hunters in the Marines
A huge Canoga "shout-out" to three of our Hunter Alumni who have recently contacted the school, and are serving in the United States Marine Corps. David Guerrero A CPHS graduate from the class of 2007, David finished his Basic Training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego last month. David is currently undergoing 3 weeks of Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton. When he is finished, he will head to Twentynine Palms to begin his training for his specialty as a Marine Corps field operator of radios and other communication equipment. Jose Guillen A Canoga grad from the class of 2009, Jose recently finished Boot Camp in San Diego on October 2nd. He is currently at Camp Pendleton undergoing Marine Combat Training, which he will finish soon. Jose has chosen to become a Helicopter Mechanic in the USMC, and he will learn his new occupation at the Marine Corps base at Pensacola, Florida. Jesus Salazar Another 2009 graduate, Jesus finished his Basic Training in San Diego on September 18th. Jesus is now a Private First Class and began his training in the Marine Corps School of Infantry on October 13th. The training lasts 9 weeks, and upon completion, Jesus could be deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan A big "THANK YOU" goes out from the Hunter family to these brave soldiers and their families.
