Communication, Arts and Media Magnet
The 2017-18 school year introduced newly redesigned magnet programs at CPHS; Communication, Arts & Media (CAM) and Engineering, Environmental & Veterinary Sciences (EEVS). The centerpiece of the CAM Magnet is the new $5 million BAIT studio complex and its dazzling array of state-of-the-art equipment. The CAM program will offer students a choice of pathways to prepare for college and careers in such diverse fields as photography, video production, journalism and graphic arts. CAM replaced the World Languages, International Business & Trade magnet. The CAM Magnet was expanded in 2019 to include both Theater and Dance pathways in an effort to broaden the Visual and Performing Arts opportunities for students.
